Agri-Careers Expo

AgVision 2018 is an event with a directed approach to address the downturn in young people pursuing agri-based careers. Students will gain an insight into the different opportunities that exist in this sector from industry experts.

AgVision 2018 is...

• An innovative biennial agri-careers event
• Dedicated to support and inform educators and students about the broad range of careers available in agriculture, science and agri-business
• The largest student agri-careers expo to be held in NSW in 2018

Students will gain an insight into...

• Different opportunities that exist in agriculture and agri-business
• Industries that support agricultural development including;
  • animal and veterinary science
  • agricultural science and engineering
  • forestry and fisheries
  • agri-business specialist areas such as finance, marketing, management and communication

AgVision 2018 will:

• Encourage aspiring young minds to become the future of agriculture in Australia
• Showcase a diverse range of agri-based career pathways
• Build networks between our youth, industry, educators and the wider community
• Allow students to experience first-hand agricultural trades, agri-business and services in a practical learning environment
• Provide students with a choice of six workshop options from 45 comprehensive hands-on learning opportunities
• Promote an awareness of appropriate study patterns required to negotiate agri-career pathways and School-based Apprenticeships and Traineeships
