School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events may include:

White Card Training
When: 9:00am - 1:00pm Tuesday 9 June & Wednesday 10 June
Where: JHS
What: Students will participate in White Card training at school over two days. This nationally recognised course provides students with the knowledge and skills required to work safely in the construction industry and is an important qualification for those considering careers in construction and related trades.
SLR Resistance Training
When: Tuesday 9 June
Where: Hype Studio
What: Students studying SLR will attend gyms and fitness classes in Wagga Wagga as part of the practical component of their Resistance Training Program. The program provides students with the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in strength, fitness and safe training practices in a real-world environment.
Teen Makeup Masterclass
When: 9:00am - 12:00pm Wednesday 10 June
Where: Riverina Community College
What: Through their participation in the Get in the Game program, selected students have the opportunity to take part in the Teen Makeup Masterclass delivered by RCC in Wagga Wagga. Running over five weeks, the program will provide students with practical makeup skills while building confidence, creativity and industry knowledge in a supportive learning environment.
Wagga Wagga Tertiary Expo
When: 9:15am - 11:45am Thursday 11 June
Where: The Range Function Centre, Wagga Wagga
What: Students in Years 10–12 will attend the Wagga Wagga Tertiary Expo to explore a wide range of post-school education and training opportunities. Students will have the chance to speak with representatives from universities, TAFE, private training providers and industry organisations to gather information about courses, scholarships, accommodation, career pathways and future study options.
Riverina Cross Country
When: Friday 12 June
Where: Gundagai Racecourse and Showground
What: Selected students will travel to Gundagai to compete in the Riverina Cross Country Championships. The event will be held at the Murrumbidgee River Flats and Racecourse, with races taking place throughout the day. Students travelling on the school bus will depart at 8:20am. A canteen and first aid facilities will be available at the venue.
