School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events may include:

OMNIA Inclusive Employment Solutions School Visit
When: 9:15am - 10:15am Monday 14 September
Where: JHS
What: OMNIA Inclusive Employment Solutions will be visiting Junee High School to deliver a series of sessions focused on workplace readiness, communication, teamwork and post-school transition skills. The sessions will support students to build confidence, identify their personal strengths and prepare for future employment, further education and independent living opportunities.
Premier's Sporting Challenge Day
When: Tuesday 15 September
Where: JHS
What: Primary school students will take part in a range of fun and active activities as part of the Premiers Sporting Challenge. Selected Junee High School students will assist with running the activities, supporting younger students and helping create a positive and enjoyable day of sport and participation.
Year 12 students will also hold a fundraising barbecue at lunch.
Junee Youth Council Meeting
When: 1:30pm - 3:15pm Tuesday 15 September
Where: Junee Library
What: Selected students will attend the Junee Youth Council meeting at Junee Library. The meeting provides students with an opportunity to have their say on matters affecting young people in the local community, share ideas and work with other young people to help make a positive difference in Junee.
Year 12 Dress Up
When: Wednesday 16 September
Where: JHS
What: Year 12 students will have the chance to step back in time for their latest dress-up day! The theme is Come as Your Younger Self, so students can recreate their younger years with old-school outfits, childhood favourites and plenty of nostalgia.
Year 12 HMS Depth Study Excursion
When: 9:15am - 12:30pm Wednesday 16 September
Where: Epizo, Wagga Wagga
What: As part of their HMS Depth Study, Year 12 students will travel to Epizo in Wagga Wagga to further develop their understanding of sports injury, recovery and rehabilitation. Students will gain valuable insight into the role of health and fitness professionals and explore how injury prevention and recovery are applied in a real-world setting.
Staff Vs Students T-Ball
When: Lunch break, Wednesday 16 September
Where: JHS MPC
What: Year 12 students will take on staff in a fun and friendly game of T-Ball!
Year 11 Yearly Exams
When: Thursday 17 September - Tuesday 22 September
Where: JHS
What: Year 11 students will undertake their yearly examinations. The exams provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding across their subjects and prepare for the expectations of Year 12.
We wish all Year 11 students the very best of luck with their exams!
Year 12 Dress Up
When: Friday 18 September
Where: JHS
What: Year 12 students will swap their usual school uniforms for a day as they dress up as their favourite teacher!
Year 7 & 10 Vaccinations
When: 9am - 1pm Friday 18 September
Where: JHS
What: Year 7 and Year 10 students will participate in the scheduled school vaccinations. Vaccinations will be administered at school by visiting health professionals.
