School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Year 7 and Year 11 Peer Support Camp
When: Monday 23 February 6:00am - Wednesday 25 February 6:30pm
Where: Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre
What: Year 7 and Year 11 students are invited to take part in our annual Peer Support Camp at Jindabyne Sport and Recreation Centre. This exciting experience provides students with the opportunity to build connections, develop leadership skills, and strengthen our school community. The centre is operated by the NSW Department of Sport and Recreation and offers excellent facilities in a supportive outdoor environment.
P&C Meeting at the Commercial Hotel
When: Tuesday 24 February 6:00pm
Where: Junee Commercial Hotel
What: The first P&C meeting for 2026 will be held on Tuesday 24 February at 6:00pm at the Commercial Hotel.
All parents, carers and community members are invited to attend. The P&C plays a vital role in supporting the school, its students and the wider community, and welcomes input and involvement for the year ahead.
Zone Swimming Carnival
When: Wednesday 25 February 8:00am - 3:00pm
Where: Young Aquatic Centre
What: Warm-up commences at 8:00am, with the first race beginning at 8:30am. Students are to meet at the venue and will be dismissed at the conclusion of the carnival. Travel to and from the venue will be via private vehicle without teacher supervision. Students should bring sunscreen and a change of clothes.
Junee Public Schools Soccer Gala Day
When: Friday 27 February 8:30am - 3:15pm
Where: Burns Park Soccer Grounds
What: SLR and PASS students will attend the Junee Public Schools Soccer Gala Day to assist with the running of the event. This experience provides students with an opportunity to develop leadership, communication and practical sport management skills while supporting local primary schools.
There will be no teacher supervision on the day. Students are required to make their own way to and from the venue.
TAFE Girls Can Too Program
When: 9:30am - 2:30pm every Friday of Term 1
Where: NSW TAFE - Wagga Wagga campus
What: Girls Can Too is a TAFE NSW program designed for female students interested in exploring non-traditional trade careers within the building and construction industry. Selected students will participate in hands-on taster days in welding, tiling, carpentry, painting and electrical, as well as industry tours to meet local employers.
Year 11 Biology Depth Study Excursion
When: Friday 27 February 9:20am - 2:40pm
Where: Berry Jerry National Park
What: As part of the Ecosystem Dynamics module, Year 11 Biology students will undertake a Depth Study of River Red Gums. The excursion will take place at Jerry Berry National Park, with travel to and from Junee High School. The program is operated by the Riverina Environmental Education Centre and provides students with hands-on learning about local ecosystems and environmental management.
