School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events may include:

Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM)

When: Wednesday 21 October (Year 9 Period 1&2, Year 10 Period 3&4)

Where: JHS

What: Year 9 and 10 students will participate in the Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) program over two periods. The program encourages students to explore mental health through role-play activities and student-led discussions, creating a supportive space to share ideas, build understanding and learn practical ways to support their own mental health and wellbeing, as well as that of others.

Made for a Trade Program

When: Friday 23 October

Where: TAFE Wagga Wagga Campus

What: Selected Year 10 students will participate in the Made for a Trade program, exploring career opportunities in the building and construction industry. Through hands-on experiences, TAFE taster days, industry tours and work experience, students will develop practical skills and gain insight into a range of trades, apprenticeships and future career pathways.
