School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events may include:

HSC Trials
When: Thursday 20 August - Thursday 27 August
Where: Room 16 JHS
What: Year 12 students will undertake their HSC Trial examinations as they prepare for their final HSC examinations. The trials provide students with an opportunity to practise exam conditions, assess their understanding of course content and identify areas for further preparation ahead of the HSC.
Try a Trade Expo
When: 9:20am - 12:15pm Thursday 27 August
Where: The Range Function Centre, Wagga Wagga
What: Students will attend the Try a Trade Expo to explore a range of vocational career pathways and trades they may wish to pursue after school. The expo brings together local employers, employment agencies and training organisations, giving students the opportunity to speak with industry representatives, explore work experience opportunities and gather information to help plan their future careers.
Year 7 Water Safety Program
When: 1:00pm - 2:30pm Thursday 27 August
Where: Junee Rec Centre
What: As part of the Term 3 PDHPE program, Year 7 students will participate in a five-week Aquatics and Lifesaving Program at the Junee Rec Centre during sport. Students will develop swimming, water safety, rescue and resuscitation skills while building confidence in aquatic environments. The program supports classroom learning on risk-taking behaviour and addresses key outcomes of the NSW PDHPE K–10 syllabus.
ADF Careers Presentation
When: Friday 28 August
Where: JHS Learning Centre
What: Students will participate in an Australian Defence Force (ADF) careers presentation during class time. The session will provide students with an overview of career opportunities within the ADF, entry pathways, training and study options, and the range of roles available across the Defence Force.
Made For A Trade
When: Friday 28 August
Where: NSW TAFE Wagga Wagga Campus
What: Selected Year 10 students will participate in the Made for a Trade program, designed to explore careers in the building and construction industry. Through TAFE taster days, industry tours, guest speakers and compulsory work experience, students will gain hands-on experience in a range of trades while exploring future education, training and apprenticeship pathways.
