School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school events may include:

Year 11 Yearly Exams
When: Thursday 17 September - Tuesday 22 September
Where: JHS
What: Year 11 students will undertake their yearly examinations. The exams provide students with an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding across their subjects and prepare for the expectations of Year 12.
We wish all Year 11 students the very best of luck with their exams!
Year 12 Lunch
When: Monday 21 September
Where: Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club
What: Year 12 students will enjoy a special lunch at the Junee Memorial Club with their Year Advisers, Mrs Commins and Mrs Bunyan. The lunch will provide an opportunity for the Year 12 cohort to come together, celebrate their final weeks of school and enjoy some time together before they head into the next chapter.
Year 12 Dress Up
When: Monday 21 September
Where: JHS
What: Year 12 students will get creative for their dress-up day, with the challenge to come dressed as something starting with the first letter of their first name!
Year 12 Combined Churches Breakfast
When: 7:30am Tuesday 22 September
Where: St Luke's Anglican Church
What: Year 12 students, parents and staff will come together for a special breakfast hosted by the Combined Churches community. The breakfast is an opportunity for the community to show their support for our Year 12 students, wish them well for their upcoming exams and share their best wishes for their futures beyond Junee High School.
Year 12 Dress Up
When: Tuesday 22 September
Where: JHS
What: Year 12 students will bring their favourite characters to life for another fun dress-up day! Students can choose any character they like and get creative with their costumes.
15s League Tag Gala Day
When: Tuesday 22 September
Where: Parramore Park Wagga Wagga
What: Selected students will travel to Wagga Wagga to compete in the 15s League Tag Gala Day. Students will have the opportunity to represent Junee High School, showcase their skills and enjoy a day of competition against other schools from across the region.
Year 12 Staff Breakfast
When: 8am Wednesday 23 September
Where: JHS
What: Staff will host a special BBQ breakfast at school for our Year 12 students on their final day. It will be a chance for staff and students to come together, enjoy breakfast and celebrate the end of their time at Junee High School before the graduation assembly.
Year 12 Graduation Assembly
When: 9:30am Wednesday 23 September
Where: JHS MPC
What: Our school community will come together to celebrate and farewell the Class of 2026 at their Graduation Assembly. The assembly will recognise the achievements of our Year 12 students and mark the end of their time at Junee High School as they prepare to take their next steps beyond school.
Families, friends and members of our wider school community are warmly invited to join us for this special occasion.
Henty Machinery Field Days
When: Thursday 24 September
Where: Henty-Cookardinia Rd, Henty NSW 2658
What: Selected students will travel to the Henty Machinery Field Days to explore the latest developments, technologies and opportunities within the agricultural industry. The excursion provides students with the chance to engage with industry representatives, learn about a range of agricultural machinery and equipment, and explore potential career pathways within the sector.
Junee High Ball
When: 5:30pm - 9:30pm Thursday 24 September
Where: JHS MPC
What: Students will step into an enchanted forest for this year’s Junee High Ball! The evening will be a special opportunity for students to dress up, enjoy a night with their friends and celebrate together as a school community.
Last Day of Term 3
When: Friday 25 September
Where: JHS
What: It’s the final day of Term 3! We wish all our students, staff and families a safe and relaxing break. Enjoy the holidays, recharge and we’ll see everyone back for Term 4!
