School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events may include:

Country Cup – U16’s NRL

When: Tuesday 12 May

Where: Nicholson Park, Cootamundra

What: Students will travel to Cootamundra to compete in the Country Cup U16’s NRL Competition against schools from across the region. The day provides students with the opportunity to showcase their teamwork, sportsmanship and rugby league skills in a competitive environment.

Year 12 Fundraising BBQ

When: Wednesday 13 May

Where: JHS

What: Year 12 students will be holding a BBQ fundraiser on Wednesday 13 May to raise money for Can Assist.

Students are encouraged to bring money along to support this important local charity chosen by our Year 12 cohort. Lolly bags, soft drinks, sausage sandwiches and hot dogs will be available to purchase, with all proceeds going towards supporting local families through Can Assist.

Year 11 Farm Case Study Excursion

When: Friday 15 May

Where: Old Narrandera Road, Euberta

What: Year 11 students will travel to a dairy farm in Euberta as part of their farm case study assessment task. During the excursion, students will have the opportunity to observe and investigate farm management practices, production systems and the day-to-day operations of a working dairy farm.
