OMNIA Inclusive Employment Solutions School Visit

When: Monday 1 June

Where: JHS

What: OMNIA Inclusive Employment Solutions will be visiting the school to deliver sessions focused on workplace readiness, communication, teamwork and post-school transition skills. Students will participate in the "All About Me" session, designed to help them identify their strengths, build confidence and prepare for future employment and independent living opportunities.

Youth Mental Health Forum

When: Tuesday 2 June

Where: CSU Wagga Wagga

What: Selected students will attend the Youth Mental Health Forum, a collaborative initiative focused on mental health and wellbeing. Through interactive sessions with professionals and community organisations, students will learn how to support themselves and their peers, while working together to develop ideas that promote wellbeing within their school community.

Be A Health Hero Program

When: Tuesday 2 June - Wednesday 3 June

Where: CSU Wagga Wagga & Wagga Wagga Base Hospital

What: Selected students will participate in the two-day Be a Health Hero! program, an immersive experience designed to introduce careers in nursing, allied health and medicine. Through hands-on workshops and practical activities at Charles Sturt University and Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, students will gain valuable insights into a range of health professions and explore future education and career pathways in the healthcare sector.

Teen Makeup Masterclass

When: 9:00am - 12:00pm Wednesday 3 June

Where: Riverina Community College

What: Through their participation in the Get in the Game program, selected students have the opportunity to take part in the Teen Makeup Masterclass delivered by RCC in Wagga Wagga. Running over five weeks, the program will provide students with practical makeup skills while building confidence, creativity and industry knowledge in a supportive learning environment.

Allied Health Workshop

When: Thursday 4 June

Where: JHS

What: Students will participate in an interactive session delivered by university student representatives from the Canberra Rural Allied Health and Nursing Collective (CRANC). Through engaging, hands-on activities, students will explore allied health and medical career pathways while gaining insight into university life, future study options and careers in the health sector.

University of Canberra Explore Day

When: Friday 5 June

Where: University of Canberra

What: Students in Years 10–12 will attend the University of Canberra Explore Day, a hands-on experience designed to give students a taste of university life. Students will build their own itinerary, participate in faculty workshops and campus activities, and explore future study options while experiencing life as a UC student.
