Events

School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Our school events may include:

sports carnivals
NAIDOC Week and Book Week events
excursions and incursions
performances, concerts or school productions
fundraising, charity and community events
award assemblies

Subject Information Evenings

When: 5:30pm - 7:30pm Tuesday 16 June

Where: JHS Learning Centre

What: Students and families are invited to attend our Subject Information Evening to learn about the subjects available for 2027 and support informed subject selections. The evening will provide an opportunity to hear from teachers, explore course options and ask questions about future pathways.

Stage 5 2027 – 5:30pm
Year 11 2027 – 6:30pm

Teen Makeup Masterclass

When: 9:00am - 12:00pm Wednesday 17 June

Where: Riverina Community College

What: Through their participation in the Get in the Game program, selected students have the opportunity to take part in the Teen Makeup Masterclass delivered by RCC in Wagga Wagga. Running over five weeks, the program will provide students with practical makeup skills while building confidence, creativity and industry knowledge in a supportive learning environment.

HMS Depth Study Excursion

When: 9:45am - 1:30pm Wednesday 17 June

Where: Chronicle Gym, Wagga Wagga

What: As part of their HMS Depth Study on Sports Injury and Recovery, students will visit Chronicle Gym in Wagga Wagga. Students will tour the facility, learn from industry professionals and participate in a strength and conditioning session, providing valuable insight into injury prevention, recovery and athlete performance.
