Scholarships Available

There are a number of Scholarships available to students to support them in their educational studies.

Scholarships are discussed with school staff, with the Principal approving nominations.

Announcements are made at our Annual Presentation Evening.

Kevin 'Tiger' Fraser Scholarship

The Fraser family donate the Tiger Fraser Scholarship.

In the 1950s and 1960s, Kevin (Tiger) Fraser was a student at Junee Intermediate High School, as were several of his siblings.

The two year scholarship is intended to assist student financially through Years 11 and 12.

Criteria:

i. Year 10 student advancing into Year 11

ii. Student who displays excellent commitment to their schooling (attendance above 85%, submits assessments and homework on time, completes learning activities, participates in school activities)

iii. Takes advantage of resources and opportunities provided to them

iv. Capacity and commitment of student to successfully complete Years 11 and 12 ( based on factors including, but not limited to, past scholastic performance and potential; participation in school activities; personal attributes)

William Rubensohn Foundation Scholarship

Beginning 2020 - 2 x Year 9 students.

Continuing through to year 12 at Junee High School, unless they leave and another eligible student is nominated. Each year, 2 more Year 9 students receive the scholarship.

The William Rubensohn Foundation offers a scholarship program for schools with the aim to assist students who are motivated to apply themselves to their studies and wish to succeed at school, (not necessarily the highest achievers). The scholarship program follows students from Year 9 through to the completion of their secondary studies in Year 12. Scholarship funds are administered directly to the students through the school.

Criteria:

i. Year 9 student, continuing with the scholarship through their senior school years

ii. Student who displays excellent commitment to their schooling (attendance above 85%, submits assessments and homework on time, completes learning activities, participates in school activities)
